What is Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game?
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is a fast-paced 1v1, 2D bending fighter set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. It is developed by Gameplay Group International — a studio founded by fighting-game veterans who previously worked on Killer Instinct and Them’s Fightin’ Herds — and published by PM Studios, Skydance Games and Paramount Games Studio.
You may also see it searched simply as Avatar: The Fighting Game, the Avatar fighting game, or the Avatar: The Last Airbender fighting game — they all refer to this same title. See the developer and gameplay pages for a deeper look.
The game ships with a roster of 12 playable fighters drawn from across both series, with five more arriving through the Year 1 Pass. This guide keeps the release information, platform status, roster, beginner picks and early meta notes in one place for players deciding who to learn first.
